Everything started 6 years ago, it was summer. 2004 !
At this time, i had 16
years old, and i decided that i would like to buy a dog,
just like every kid..."mom, dad i want a dog" !! In a way my father was a little bit responsable because
he was always telling me storys about his german
sheperds.
After many searches on the internet, I’ve decided that I
should buy a dog in Spain, to a breeder named Rosa,
kennel name “Ferramonte”. I can't remember why I went to
Spain, but I think I’ve searched and at these days they
were the best kennel is Spain. Of course after 1 minute
I’ve arrived, I wanted to take the dog to my house. He's
still with me, he is Hill. My dog!

One day, i was walking in Estoril with Hill and
i saw a show that was on the casino field. I don't know
why but i went there to check. I was looking to all
theses breeds and to these people when a man from
nowhere camed to me and asked me something like this : "
Hey this dog is not from this spanish kennel named
Ferramonte ?! I was shocked !! Something was not wright
! How is it possible ? Someone looking to a dog and
tells in wich place he was born ! Wasn't it a German
Shepherd like the others ?!
It was the beggining of everything, all this passion for
this breed. Later it was so much ltime spending on it
that i went to the veterinary school. It was the right
thing to do !
Intrigued i've asked him
how
could he know that and how he knew so well these dogs.
At the end of the show and after a few hours of
conversation Manuel (the man) gave me a homework that
was like this: "you just go to Google and search the
kennels Von Arminius"
and "Von der Wienerau."

Weeks, months went by, always watching photos, videos,
reading pedigrees and texts.
Then I decided that I would like to have a female for
show, out of the Quantum von Arminius line and breed
with her in the future. On
the end of many calls and emails to Germany, I met one
of my best girlfriends, Tina.
It didn't take long to get myself
into a crazy week in Germany, by train, watching many
kennels

Until a Wednesday (I remember like it was today), I was
knocking on Tina's door.
That day passed so fast !
I've visited her kennel, many training camps, and at the
end of the day i can tell everyone that the world of the
German Shepherd is there, in Viernheim, all exceptional
people, always very well received. All is SUPER
as they say !

We created a good friendship and
of course, a few months later I was back.
This adventure allowed me to go to the Siegerschau in
2007 where I met most of the "shitz-team"! This "shitz"
are
today good friends and with whom I have regular contact.
In the meantime I can't remember
how many times I went to Germany to be with them.

During this time I've bought a dog named Lilja daughter
of the VA1 Zamp Thermodos.
She marked me because on these days i was studying in
Coimbra, on my first year of University, when after 9
months of "passion" and during a surgery Thai didn't
resist, which somehow shocked me a lot.

Immediately after that i tought i was not going to give
up on my dream and so
I've remembered a beautiful and strong female that Tina
had, whose name was Winnie. On a
trip to Germany, I've decided to question her about
Winnie and I ended up bringing her with 13 months
already.
A few months later Tina and Sandra came to Portugal at
the time of the Siegerschau, and Winnie were crowned the
best young female (judendsiegerin).

One year later, I've returned to Lisbon, and I've built
my kennel which i called Domus Didacus
